Quotes to Remember

The United States supported and in many cases engendered every right wing military dictatorship in the world after the end of the Second World War. I refer to Indonesia, Greece, Uruguay, Brazil, Paraguay, Haiti, Turkey, the Philippines, Guatemala, El Salvador, and, of course, Chile. The horror the United States inflicted upon Chile in 1973 can never be purged and can never be forgiven.

RON PAUL--A PATRIOT IN THE LINE OF FIRE PDF
Thursday, 10 January 2008
Doctor Ron Paul -- StatesmanTo any that say Ron Paul is not a man of great courage you really have little idea of what the word means. Did you see Ron Paul against the Gang of Five in another Faux "We Distort--You Comply" Election 2008 Debate--again--especially after the recent attacks against his character. Doctor Paul's performance on the debate is a testament to the man, and of the clarity of his vision. A Patriot of the truest caliber for sure.

Perhaps my idea of patriotism, courage, leadership and integrity is so messed up at this point, after 30 years in the wilderness of the Rockies and Alaska, that I'm seeing it different than most, but it seems to this writer that the only one that wasn't blowing smoke up my ass is Doctor Paul. Picture if you will being 200 miles from town out in the woods trapping and living by yourself, the nearest Native village 60 miles away, the nearest neighbor 30 odd miles without even a broke trail to his cabin, the temperature hovering at minus 40 F, your dogs losing strength and you go through the ice, sled and all, plus the wheel dog too, Ron Paul has that kind of strength and resolve, unfailing, toughness beyond body and age. He is a very brave man to be up against the Status Quo like he is, beyond measure in my opinion.

There has not been a man running for President, Commander-in-Chief if you please, that has been so forthright for many a score of years. For the Republican Party, the other Candidates and Commentators to be so arrogant with there open laughter, marginalization, snide comments and smirky ugliness is totally disgusting. For them to so totally divorce themselves from this Statesman and his ideas is folly of the largest sort. But then if one is somewhat studied on the subject realizing the separate interests that bought them and the party so many years past it is explainable, yet regrettable for Our Country's sake. Be damned I say, with the whole lot of them, save one DOCTOR RON PAUL the only true American on that stage tonight.

Sure he isn't as photogenic as Romney, as affable as Thompson, or as sanctimoniously eloquent as Huckabee, (the last two of the Gang of Five are pure Republidemotician and have nothing to point to other than that they are nothing but 100% politician, oily, slick and playing their game to the great unwashed). Only Paul in his straight, unrehearsed, awkward way articulated anything I can remotely take as truth, only Dr. Paul was willing to tell We the People as he truly sees it caring not what opinion might say--

So as to the substance of the debate it was another farce as they all seem to be with Faux, yet there were some highlights. Ron Paul owned this one in my opinion in spite of the commentators ignoring him and throwing offhanded, kooky questions to him. These jokers are the true "kooks" in this election cycle. Enough for now. You can view it here: YouTube videos on Ron Paul and the Entire Debate This is a playlist consisting of 3 videos of strictly Dr. Paul's responses and then what was available of the entire debate, that being 9 parts of 10 for now. Thank you researchis2 and freemebqw for the video--great jobs you both did.

As a Republican for the past 30 years, and a fiscally conservative one with a liberal heart, I salute you for your excellent article. I also back Ron
Paul, both financially and with my words. I will continue to back him throughout this election cycle. When the last vote is counted, and I do hope it gets counted, then I will withdraw from the Republican Party as I now understand that it is just a part of the other "Bought and Paid For Party". I will do this in much the same fashion as I did with the Democrats, who I ran away from screaming when Reagan come on the scene. I now understand that it is time that America got back to its roots. I will become a card carrying member of either the Constitution or Libertarian Party (I'm leaning towards the Libs, but only because I haven't had time to investigate the Constitution Party as of yet).
